WKHT will once again be participating in the Hawaii Visitor Industry Charity Walk at no cost to our 2025 active member participants. Due to the popularity of this event, we are limiting signups to the first 50 applications received by the Sunday, April 13, 2025 registration deadline.

Friends and family who wish to also walk may contact President Stephen H.T. Wong for details on registering for this charitable event (independent of WKHT) which raises millions of dollars for many non-profits in Hawaii.

About the Event

Scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025, we will meet at Ala Moana Beach Park at 6:30 am to distribute wristbands and caps, and take a group picture (see map below for location). The 5.25 mile walk through Waikiki starts at 7:00 am, and walkers get to munch treats, and gather small treasures provided by merchants, hotels, and volunteers. All who signup are expected to traverse the entire course; if you are unable to walk the full 5.25 miles, please do not sign up so others who can may participate.

Gear Up!

• WKHT President, Stephen HT Wong, has lined up our Society with the Hilton Hawaiian Village, and we will sport Hilton t-shirts. 
• Additionally, each participant walking under WKHT will receive a cap with our “Yellow Wong” logo.
• T-shirts and caps will be distributed the morning of the walk at the Ala Moana Beach Park meeting site. Registered walkers will be contacted with details on getting a t-shirt ahead of time, if they wish to have it prior to the day of the walk.
